Black Friday signs and banners: what to write

Every shop shouts BLACK FRIDAY in the same week. A sign gets about two seconds of attention, so it has to say the offer and the dates in as few words as possible.

Black Friday is on 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November. Most shops start earlier, so put the sign up a week before, and change it once the sale is on.

Where it goes

  • The top of the sale email, as an animated GIF: it is the first thing seen when the email opens.
  • The corner of product photos, so the offer shows in the shop grid and on social posts.
  • A banner across the top of the website, and a smaller one on the cart page.
  • A story or a square post, the badge on its own with the dates in the caption.
  • A printed sign for the window or the counter, from the SVG at any size.

How to choose

  • One offer per sign. Two offers read as none.
  • Light ink on black is the Black Friday look. Use your own colours if your shop already has them.
  • A round badge fits a photo corner and a profile picture. A ribbon or a wide badge fits a banner.
  • GIF for the email header and social posts. PNG or SVG for the website and print.
  • The same badge everywhere: in the email, on the site and in the shop, so people know it is the same sale.
  • Show a discount only if the price was really higher before.

How to use

  1. Open a Black Friday badge, or type your own offer in the box at the top.
  2. Pick the colours and the effect.
  3. For an email: download the GIF and put it at the top.
  4. For product photos: press Insert to image or PDF and place it in a corner.
  5. For a printed sign: download the SVG and send it to the printer.
