A company anniversary logo: what to write and where to use it
An anniversary is a reason to talk to customers without selling anything. A small badge carries it everywhere for a year: the email signature, the website, the invoices, the bags.
The badge works best when it is simple and stays the same all year. Make it once, use it in every place the business shows its name, and retire it when the year is over.
What to write
| 10 YEARS | the number alone, clearest at small sizes |
|---|---|
| 10TH ANNIVERSARY | when there is room for one more word |
| 2016 · 2026 | the years, which also says how long |
| CELEBRATING 25 YEARS | for a campaign or an event |
| SILVER JUBILEE, GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY | for 25 and 50 years |
| THANK YOU FOR 10 YEARS | for customers and staff |
| EST. 2016 · 10 YEARS | when the founding year is part of the story |
Where it goes
- The email signature of everyone in the company.
- The website header, next to the logo, for the year.
- Invoices, quotes and letterhead.
- Bags, stickers, cups and staff shirts.
- Social profile pictures for the anniversary month.
How to choose
- Your name and the number. More than 2 lines and it will not read in a signature.
- Your own brand colour. Gold on slate reads as an occasion.
- A round badge fits a profile picture. A shield or ribbon fits a letterhead.
- The GIF for social posts, the SVG for print.
- One badge for the whole year, so people learn it.
How to use
- Type your name and years in the box, or start from one of the logos.
- Pick the version and the colours.
- Email signature: the PNG at about 120 pixels wide.
- Website: the SVG next to your logo for the year.
- Print: the SVG goes to the printer for bags, stickers and shirts.
